You may be thinking but does it really work? It depends you can do everything that they do for free. However many people are not going to remember to keep calling the creditors and ask them to monitor your credit reports every 90 days. That is correct; if you fail to contact them then anyone can open up an account under your name. So unless you are on top of things and you know for sure that you will not forget to contact them; then you can do it yourself.
